I’ve been a good girl and bought a “Majblomma”

Yes, it’s true. I today went to dance “lindy hop”, you know the kind of jive in which they are throwing each other around… crazy I know, but a lot of fun! I loved it and they also had this band who played jazz and will go on the whole night. So maybe I’ll get my ass back there :)

Today I had the honour to eat with the girl that came to lecture. Her name’s Jennie Arvenäs and works as an AD at Farfar, really sweet and fun! She showed us the work they had done for Björn Borg and also answered a lot of questions regarding internship, working processes, budgets and all you can think of.

I like the work Farfar have done a lot and will try and visit them in Stockholm soon. Hopefully :)

It feels really odd, but this weekend will be the last I’ll spend here in my apartment. Next week I’m moving in with Måns in the class, fun fun! But a bit sad, this has been my first own flat and I love it. Life goes on I guess and tonight we’ll have a party here to celebrate.

This weekend will be special, a bit more special than the rest cause, first off, tomorrow I’ll probably go on a “lindy hop”-workshop…. OMG, I’ll break my neck or something, but it’ll be AWESOME! Then on Sunday there’s this park in a city nearby that’s having a giant flea market and I’ll be there! Sum it up: A SUPER WEEKEND! The weather’s supposed to be good as well (just to make things even better).

Took this picture yesterday, a lovely sunset here in Karlskrona just outside my house. Had a long walk, just me, my mp3 and pencil and papper. Cleared my mind and got some work done.

- But now it’s party-time. Ciao!

When I have time and motivation, I’ll finish it off in photoshop I think… someday, maybe…

Saturday again, it means a new week’s ahead and that we are going to take the project even further. First off a meeting tomorrow with our module-leader and then we’ll take a closer look on the concept and try to develope it. So far we have got some cool ideas, but they are not complete and well thought through.

Today has been nice, took a long walk after lunch and ended up sitting in the grass for hours just relaxing. So to compensate I bought myself a pizza, it tasted good. Have also been listening to some old fun radio programs, here’s the link (it’s in swedish tough) ENJOY! :)

Well, I think this speaks pretty clearly. We were going to brainstorm today and since the weather has been great we took the chance to do this outside. I think it did good to us all and the brainstorming went well also, tomorrow we’ll take a closer look on the outcome. We will as well try and have a logotype ready to use, and maybe start with some concept art.

To sum this up, as the project manager I can say that brainstoming in the sun a whole afternoon = happy group-members and an effective result.

We have now started to work and this is a picture of the scheduel I’ve made for us on the wall. Later today we’ll have a meeting with the guys behind NOKO Jeans and will then hopefully get an even better view of the whole project and what’s expected of us. Laters!

…came to visit and lecture today. So fun and inspiring! They guided us through out the whole history behind “Cheap Monday” more or less, how it all started and showed their design and work. Really cool!

And then it was time for us in our group to put together a project plan. Everyone in the group seems to be motivated and some even had begun to think about design concepts and looks for the logotype. We will start for real next week and it’ll be great. It looks as if there’s a lot of room for playing and fooling around this time. We’ll take the chance and make something out of the ordinary!

Have today been introduced to the new module and I must say it seems to be a really good one! We are going to work with a real client and also have the chance to play around. My new group includes myself (Project Manager) and my creative team: Zacke, Max L and Rasmus. Until tomorrow we’ll make a “SWOT” on ourselves and then it’s time to take a closer look on the breif. This’ll be fun fun!
