Hi, you are looking at my blog right now.

Now the week is over… well at least the one here in Karlskrona. Tomorrow I will go back home to Skåne and meet my parents and friends. I think it will be nice, I have not been home for a while so…. Anyhow, today we had a great lecture/workshop. Two girls from SIT was here and talked about how to look at ideas and try to get the most out of them. They had some really good tips and I will definitely see the value in taking the time to dig into the ideas and put them to the test. Often we tend to strive for the solutions right a way, instead of giving the problems and ideas an extra thought. I think the whole class enjoyed it!

We have also send in our 50 ideas with the 5 that we “feel” the most for. So on Monday we will meet again and find out which idea will be the one to work on.

Tomorrow we need the 50 ideas, and I think all mine is done. Today we had a lecture/workshop with a girl named Astrid Selling Sjöberg. She runs the company Flokk and tried to help us think more about how you come up with a concept. That we often just run into the products and solutions, without really thinking “what are the problems you would like to slove?”, “is it necessary?”. It was a little bit hard to understand what she was meaning in the begining, but I guess she opened your eyes a bit. And it’s always good to be challenged and try different angles. In the beginning of the week, me and Olle drove to Sportson to give their bike-holder back. We then took a quick tour at the toy store nearby and there Olle found some stuff he liked:

Okay, here’s the deal… Until friday our groups need to come up with around 50 ideas. We have now a new module and therefor new groups. This time I’m with Tommi G, Mathias A, Sheryo and Olle (again). This time I’m trying out the role as the project manager, and I hope the rest of the group thinks I’m doing a good job :) So friday is the first deadline and now it’s just to start brainstorming like hell!

Today it’s Monday, but we had a day off. Still me, Olle and Henke went to school to fix with the “bike-holders”. We will send them back this week and therefore we wanted to clean them up a bit. Otherwise this has been a good and lazy day. Now I will continue with my laziness and watch som tv. Ciao!

So now I’m back home in Karlskrona, and it feels good. It has been a fun week but now it’s time to catch up with some sleep. I’m really tired, but I have, as a promised, uploaded a couple of pictures. You can take a look at them here <—-

So, today is the day. It’s the day when everything we have been working on will be put to the test. It’s the “grand final”! At 16:00 the doors will open to Hyper Island Experience Technology 08 here in Stockholm, and all the groups have done so well. It has been some stressfull days but now everything is working and I hope many people will try out all our prototypes and have a good experience.

Now it’s back for preperations, but when I come back to Karlskrona (or maybe tonight, we’ll see), I will upload a buch of photos. But if you haven’t seen it, you can take a look at the exhibitions site here -> www.et08.com

Now we are ready to head for Stockholm, the prototypes are finished and t-shirts has been printed. Here are some pictures of what we have been up to, I love the picture to the left with Åsa riding our bikes! You go girl!

This saturday we had “Arty Party” at Ångan. We had great loud music and a all kinds of pencils and paint. This is some pictures from the night and some of the pieces I made. You should have been there!
