Yesterday was a happy day for the fellow class “Digital Media 09 Karlskrona”, they had their graduation ceremony and their 2 years as Hyper Island student has come to an end. Wish you all the best of luck and see you out in the industry! (if not sooner) Hurray Hurray!
Had a meeting together with Sofie today talking about pretty much everything. Both important and not so important stuff, can’t get it that it’s more or less the last week here at Hyper Island in Karlskrona…. Going to be fun but also kind of sad…. hmm…. anyway, it will be great!!
Back to work now, had the final presentation for my client yesterday and everything went super! He loves us! Now it’s only up to us to make the two other clients as happy as well. “GO GO Team Pineapple!!”

AAH! I’m so mad at myself! This Monday Olle and Jonas accidently got the football stuck up on the roof. It ended up with some seriouse problem-solver-skills shown from Olles side, and I filmed the whole scenario…. at least I thought. When I was about to upload the movieclip, it wasn’t there. So here you are, a photograph I manage to take, not even as far as entertaining as the movie had been (if existed) but it’s something.
So remember kids, always to check one extra time if the camera is rolling - tip of the day.

2. Pay your bills
and 3. Buy audiobooks
How could we live without it before? It makes you wonder.
(did I meantion it’s called “Paystation” and looks very similar to another quite big brand)
Today I had the honour to eat with the girl that came to lecture. Her name’s Jennie Arvenäs and works as an AD at Farfar, really sweet and fun! She showed us the work they had done for Björn Borg and also answered a lot of questions regarding internship, working processes, budgets and all you can think of.
I like the work Farfar have done a lot and will try and visit them in Stockholm soon. Hopefully :)
When I have time and motivation, I’ll finish it off in photoshop I think… someday, maybe…
…came to visit and lecture today. So fun and inspiring! They guided us through out the whole history behind “Cheap Monday” more or less, how it all started and showed their design and work. Really cool!
And then it was time for us in our group to put together a project plan. Everyone in the group seems to be motivated and some even had begun to think about design concepts and looks for the logotype. We will start for real next week and it’ll be great. It looks as if there’s a lot of room for playing and fooling around this time. We’ll take the chance and make something out of the ordinary!
I just want to have it done, I’d like to have it all set and clear. It would have felt so much better to know that my internship is decided and that everything will turn out great. But on the other hand it aint that easy, you want to find both an agency that you like, and then that they’ll like you back (even more). Hmm… a tricky one indeed…
Well, I am in the middle of my hunt and I hope to get some positive answers back. My dream would be to get a position as an creative, I would like to have the chances to explore and develope new ideas and concepts. The industry is evolving faster and faster and all the time we’re pushing the boundaries. Do they even exist? This is what makes it all interesting, to instead of follow the rest, try out new paths and ways of communication.
So I’m holding my thumbs and will not give up, just continuing to work hard and keep my fire going!
